"Definitely rude. Wife called to book a cruise for 10 people for a birthday celebration and the woman was rude and short with her. Apparently, we were inconveniencing her. Booking a trip is supposed to be fun. To the owner: My wife isn’t rude and knows how to speak to people. She kindly said she would call you back after your attitude on the phone to end the conversation. You would think being a travel agent, you would be upbeat and customer oriented."

"This was our first time working with Deanna, the owner of CDT Travel. She arranged our cruise to Hawaii. Three weeks before our cruise was scheduled to take place, the cruise line cancelled our reservation because of short staffing on the ship. Deanna rose to the occasion and very quickly planned a one week, two island vacation for us, including a car rental. The hotel on Oahu and the resort on Maui were absolutely beautiful. We had a more relaxed and less stressful trip because of her ability to handle last minute situations like ours. For all our future travel plans, we will be relying on Deanna for her expertise & guidance to help us have the best travel experience!"

"I have never gone out of my way to write a negative review but this was my wedding and it was dampened by my experience with CDT travel. My husband and I used CDT travel to plan our destination wedding last July 2018. There were many instances of dissatisfaction with Deanna and her team, but most importantly we lost over $600 because they messed up our dates of stay and booked us an extra night. We were unable to use the extra night because our flight was already booked. We never received any compensation for the extra night. We expressed the dates we wanted to stay on 3 occasions yet were still somehow booked an extra night. Another instance where we lost money was the transfer from the hotel to the airport. All of our wedding guests were taken care of with the transfer from the hotel to airport, yet my husband and I (the bride and groom) did not have any transfer to the airport for our departure (we paid for this ahead of time). We ended up having to pay a taxi to take us to the airport and barely made our flight home. We also had 2 guests complain that they did not hear back from Deanna for a couple of weeks and therefore booked their flights through other agencies (this took away from our credit towards the trip). Overall, they reimbursed us around $200 so we ended up losing somewhere around $400 which is valuable especially after paying for a wedding. I will never use CDT travel again, nor would I recommend them to anyone!"

"Went to Scotland in October 2018 with CDT and it was honestly the best 9 days I have spent. Deanna and Allison are wonderful and made everything from start to finish so easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. The group had a great energy and camaraderie together, and I genuinely felt that I was with people who were fun, safe, and trustworthy. CDT made this a very special trip, and I will definitely be traveling with them again."
