Hilton Garden Inn Nanuet

"The hotel and rooms could use a refresh. Looked a little on the old side, but the room was still comfortable. The girl at the front desk most of the time was very, very helpful and eager. She provided us with information about the train to get into Manhattan. The breakfast attendant during one day of our stay sort of ignored us. She had a number of opportunities to get us started or wait on us esp when she made trips to adjacent tables but instead spend a lot of it talking to customers eating at the bar. This left us confused as the whether we needed to get up and place our own order. A family that seated themselves afterward were promptly waited on though."

"The hotel is very clean.. that I could say… but they only have one elevator that works and you be waiting for a long time.. there is a night staff male who wears glasses his weird I just feel a uncomfortable energy about him, he’s always sleeping and when you speak to him he’s very sarcastic. breakfast should be free and not have people serving us.. we should be able to grab our own food.. There is a Chinese lady who is super perky in the morning she’s very loud and very annoying.. people look at each other when eating and row they eyes because they agree she annoying but she is sweet too .. I’m not the only one who says this.. in the elevator, everyone was talking about her. . The food is very expensive and drink’s so get everything you want outside"

"Everything seemed clean and fine, just tired of getting nickel and dimed in places like this. Wifi claims it may charge you if you don't enter your address for rewards, breakfast costs extra, 3$ for a bottle of soda. Did not see a single person eat at the restaurant during the stay, figured it's overpriced too. I bet you would get better reviews and more money if you had a desirable restaurant, fair vending, and complimentary wifi/breakfast."

"My daughter got ready there on the morning of her wedding. We were from out of town so rented four rooms and a conference room for the bridal party to get ready. I was nervous it wouldn’t work out but it was GREAT. I had trouble getting the girl who rented the conference room to call me back and john the manager was lively and very helpful. The rest of the staff was incredible-so sweet and nice and the rooms were clean and great. Would highly recommend."

"The carpet in our first room was wet and the room smelled extremely musty. My socks were wet after I walked across the carpet. That said, the staff was great, and quick to help. After bringing the issue to the attention of the staff, they moved us to a room across the hall. The manager even walked the new keys up to us. The new room was much better. The reason I'm leaving the Rooms at 2 *s is because the sheets didn't fit the beds and came off as soon as we laid down... in both rooms... Additionally, it's not possible to shut the curtains to block out light. The only curtains we could close were sheer."
