"If could rate this place 0 stars I would. I wasted 6 months of my time at this shop. 3 faulty parts. Each time a transmission was replaced, I would still have the same problem that I brought the car in with. Leaks, check engine lights. A nightmare for months! On top of that, horrible communication and wait times. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, the worst experience ever!"

"2004 Passat 5 speed ,was having a shimmy thru clutch pedal.Kevin owner of Closter Transmissions diagnosed problem.checked entire car, found it to be a bad axle. Kevin's knowledge is unsurpassed and labor was more than fair.Replaced bad axle,problem solved. Any drivetrain issues from now on I will go to Closter Transmissions first. J. Kunze"
