"I haven’t come across any other pathetic Home Depot store than this one. They are a lazy bunch of clowns. I placed an online order for deck railing. I was supposed to go pick it up but never received the “ready for pick” email for 4 days. So, I went to the store this morning to enquire. I met with this dumb associate named Lori who made up stories to cover for her fellow associates. I was asked to wait and 30 minutes, later the person who went to fetch came and talked to her. She then comes to me and says the items are not in stock. I said I order 9 railing and online it still says there are 11. Then she says something epic, “the online system does not know about inventory, you have to come here and place the order always for everything”! I have never heard something that is this dumb in this day and age. I work in IT and I know how online and store inventory system works. Basically, they are so lazy that they failed update the inventory system. I had the whole order worth $3100cancelled and now buying from Lowes. May be its time they learnt a thing or two from the associates at Lowes."
