"Came in over the weekend to get a set of tires and was out sooner than I anticipated. The mechanics were informative and provided excellent service. Donna (asst. manager), provided great customer service and answered all of my questions. The lobby and restrooms were cleaned. I can't wait to get a flat tire, so I can come back and see the girl at the front desk!!! LOL I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for tires in the area."

"The work Mavis has done on my Honda Civic put my life in danger twice, and I have not been offered any refund. I came to Mavis Beacon for a routine car inspection and oil change in the morning. My car was running perfectly fine. They told me my brake pads were worn and I needed new brake drums. When asked for an approximate cost, they said a couple hundred dollars. I received the car at night along with a $722 bill. I asked my father to take a look at the bill, and Mavis said there’s a mistake, and the bill went down to $690. The man behind the counter also wouldn’t look at me in the eye as soon as my father walked in the room. Despite me asking questions about my own car, he would respond by looking at my father. It felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously by the mechanics as a young woman. However, the car passed inspection, so I thought it was work that had to be done for me to drive safely. My brakes stopped working while I was driving home. I had to pump twice to brake. The car was returned to Mavis, they were apologetic, and within a half hour they said it’s fixed. I drove it back home fine, but the next time I drove the car, the brakes again stopped working while I was driving, as it was hard to slow for a stop sign. Suddenly, three emergency lights came on, including “low brake fluid”, “check vsa system”, and “check power steering system.” I took it to Mavis in Vailsgate, which was closer than Beacon, and brought them my receipt from the previous work. After a day, they said they didn’t have the proper computer to run diagnostics on the problem and it’s a mystery why my brakes aren’t working. Mavis has not offered me any refund for their work on my brakes that has resulted in me being unable to safely drive. I have now taken my car to a local autobody to run diagnostics on the car and will update this post if I find out what went wrong. They said they see people come in all the time with problems from Mavis’ work."

"This Mavis is great, the staff is wonderful everyone is nice, Chris and Donna were awesome, very helpful. I loved the fact that I was able to buy my tires on Amazon and have them put on here and set everything up and paid for on Amazon, and the price to put them on was the best. I also ended up getting an alignment for an awesome price. Really enjoyed my experience definitely will be referring my friends and family to this location for services."
