"We had an online ins. co. handling all our insurance needs for many years. Our son who lives in Sarasota Florida told us that he switched from the same online co. to State Farm and saved a bundle and very happy with their customer service. He suggested that we should at least get quotes from State Farm. We chose Ashish after reading Google reviews. OMG!! Aren't we glad that we did! He is very professional and really cares about our needs. We had five insurance policies. He studied each one very carefully, and saved us $1,000 on auto (two cars) premium alone, and found one property grossly under insured. He straighten up everything in one sitting. He is not only a great agent, but also a wonderful human being. We are very happy to get to know him. This is to follow up on my review I wrote a year ago. As my wife was driving a car out of parking lot in Sarasota, Fl, a small pickup truck abruptly backed up and hit the driver side door. The driver admitted her fault and apologized. My wife reported the accident to the local office of State Farm, and took the car to the Mercedes affiliated repair shop. We thought it was a simple claim. But the manager of the shop warned my wife that the insurance situation in Florida was so bad that the insurance company would not pay for the repair cost in full, even though the accident wasn’t her fault. We called Ashish for advice knowing it wasn’t his responsibility for dealing with Florida incident. He assured us not to worry, and talked to the repair shop manager right away. While the manager was insisting that the situation in Florida was different, not like New York, Ashish gave an instruction how to file a claim properly step by step. Now, the repair cost was fully paid by State Farm, and the car is back in our garage in excellent condition. The repair shop manager was very impressed by the way Ashish handled the situation. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having a personal connection with an agent like Ashish Anand."
