"Zero stars should be an option. This place is totally unprofessional and a total rip off! I took my son to this salon 3 times to start his dreadlocks. They are completely clueless. His hair was only twisted with hair gel and was unraveling even after they claimed to interlock it. I wasted my hard earned money on this place. It’s completely pointless making appointments here because you still end up waiting over an hour before your hair gets started. They’re very unprofessional. One customer was getting her hair braided and the stylist kept taking breaks and even went to buy lunch in the midst of braiding the customer’s hair. This place is a huge disappointment. Never again!"

"One person did my hair; she was attentive and ensured she wasn't braiding too tight. I was in and out. You have to know what you want and how the style. I also purchased the hair moisturizer, which my hair seems to love. I had a good braiding experience."

"I love Judy. She treats you good and does a great job! She helped me when another braiding salon in Hackensack, NJ stopped doing my hair midway. She took it out and charged me nothing additional, I had to force her to take the extra for tip. She cares about her clients and my hair has been growing better. 10 stars ⭐️ !"

"7 hours sitting in a chair getting my braids done, 7 packs of hair the lady who is the owner had no idea what she was doing. For 7 hours she was talking with her 2 other helpers. At the end of the 7 hours the finished product was horrible, not what I expected and she had the audacity to yell at me and said that’s what I asked for. The hair lasted 2 weeks , I paid this woman $200 I have never been back at her salon nor have I gotten braids since that time. I am super nervous with these people BTw about 4 weeks prior she had a sweet Jamaican lady working with her, this lady gave me a beautiful braid style, unfortunately when I went back and asked for the lady she told me the lady went back to Jamaica. I didn’t believe her Another thing she was gossiping about my hair to her co workers she was unaware that I could understand if not all of the language she spoke, What a shame!"

"If I could give 0 stars I would, the WORST African hair braiding shop I’ve ever been to. Let’s start off with how rude & unwelcoming the staff is, there was only one lady in there that was sweet. When I walked in I told them I called for a braid down, it was a debate on who was going to do my braids (the sweet lady was the only one willing to) I really wanted to walk out but I had an event in a few hours. Honestly I wish I did, when I went to take my braids out I noticed my hair was in KNOTS with added synthetic hair so of course I had to cut pieces of my real hair to get these braids out my head. 0/10!!!!"
