"A nice family owned nail salon. Clean and reasonably priced. I have never had a less than pleasant experience and their manicures last well into my next appointment."

"I've been coming to Chester nails and using Chloe for a few months. Today she made me feel very unwelcomed.and she didn't ask me to rebook. Like Jekyll and Hyde. Nice one week nasty the next So I guess I won't be coming back. Too bad. You should never take your mood out on your customer."

"I have been to this salon three times. The last being for a total redo of my nails. Both times I called to make an appointment I was greeted kindly and given an appointment with ease. One visit was on a Tuesday morning and the other was on Wednesday morning so each time they were not very busy and my service was not rushed. Both services were done by a kind enough woman named Amy. The second time I was about 10 minutes late, do to traffic and when I called they agreed to still see me. Much appreciated. Both times Amy took her time, cleaned my nails. I did ask that a drill be used as little as possible due to my already thin nails. Unfortunately very few nail salons are willing to accommodate the request to not use a drill and this place is not the exception. Amy spent a little over an hour on my nails each time and there were no extras except for a a very short hand massage at the end. It's close to home so no frills isn't a dealbreaker for me. This place is not very clean, there's no hot towels and nothing came from a disinfecting station. This isthe biggest negative of this place. There's no licenses hanging up at anyone's station and all the stations appear to be unkept. The uv lights feel like you are putting your hands in a sandbox. My Second visit seemed like it was going well, but I had my concerns noticing my nails looked pretty lumpy. I tipped 20% anyway because I appreciated Amy's time. When I got in my car, in the sunlight I noticed my nails were lumpy and did not look great at all. The next day they started peeling and I needed to call. I did and was told to come in and I was there a couple of hours later. When I got there I was asked by a girl I now know as "Chloe" what number I used and I honestly did not know. She asked me to pick from a color book and it was not in there. She then told me to go look in a book that was across the room and in that book I found the color. I pointed to the color and that's when "Chloe" swatted my hand out the way and quickly closed the book! At this point I was not comfortable so I kindly asked her if everything was ok, but "Chloe"was quick to defend her inappropriate behavior and pressed a button behind her. I asked her why she was doing that and she stated because I had problem with her and she was laughing as if something was funny. A couple of techs came rushing over. I never raised my voice and remained calm. Another employee came over and defended "Chloe's behavior" without witnessing what "Chloe" did. I was told someone else was going to fix my nails. Nobody would listen to my concerns and at that point I was really uncomfortable so I asked for a refund and was told that was not an option. I had an event the next day so I went with the other employee to her dirty station. She never told me her name so I apologize for calling her "she". I was way to upset to ask her name and at this point i felt humiliated. There was No massage, no apologies, some cuticle oil and a "happpy holidays" I Called today to speak to a manager named Kelly and in short, Kelly seemed a little condescending telling me how she was busy and that my story was long. I never repeated myself and gave her the facts. I wanted to tell her the entire story. So here is my "a lot of talking" Kelly for your potential customers to see and maybe choose a more professional and cleaner place where nail techs do not swat your hand! Kelly, I don't believe you were sincere with me on the phone. You did not change my mind about your business and you made me feel worse! You just defended your emploeeys bad behavior. I also saw that you or the other manager responded to a different bad review stating they should "do their nails at home" and commented on how that person isn't happy wherever they go including the doctor. I suggest you take that down because that only validates peoples negative opinions about your salon. Don't minimize peoples bad experiences. Potential customer, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

"This salon came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. My daughter and I came in for pedicures. I called at 9:00am and they booked us for 1:00pm. I was told they are really busy and appointments are a must. We had to wait a few minutes for the technicians, but they had us seated with our feet soaking in the water bath while we waited. The technicians really took their time. My polish was perfect. Thank you for living up to the hype. We will be back"
