"Dr Hanna Yacoub is the best. I've gone to her office in Wayne about 4 times now, 2 cleaning/checkup, 1 extraction, and 1 emergency appointment for pain. Three of those visits, I was in and out in less than an hour. I was in the waiting room for less than five minutes. Compared to 1-2 hour waits in New York, where I'm from, it is awesome. The emergency appointment took a little longer because they had multiple emergency appointments that day. Also, it took 30 minutes for the anesthesia to work. All of the people at Chrystal are friendly and efficient, from the desk, to assistant, to hygienist, to Hanna herself. I read some of the lesser reviews, and I don't know how credible they are. As a patient, you have to let the dentist know if you still feel pain after anesthesia. This happened to me, and Hanna immediately stopped working on me. She sat with me, waiting 15 minutes, explaining why this was happening. The bottom teeth take longer to numb because the meds have to go through a wall of bone to eventually reach the desired area. So, from the first injection, it took 30 minutes to numb, and after that, she removed the pain I was having. One reviewer said they had pain after cleaning, maybe you have bad oral hygiene. My mouth feels clean and fresh each time when I leave. And one reviewer said Chrystal would not take them due to their insurance. Well, that was for your own benefit because you will be paying out of pocket. Why would they NOT want your money. I highly recommend Chrystal Dental if you are looking for a fast, friendly, and good dental care provider."

"Never in my life have I encountered such poor and unprofessional service. I was supposed to have my cavity filled. Normally at my old dentists office he would numb me and wait until my lip and face feels completely numb and he would ask if I needed more of the syringe and I said yes just in case. Then after waiting 20-30 minutes or so he would start filling and I would tap on his wrist or arm if he went too deep or if it hurt luckily I felt completely numb. These people don’t know what they are doing the lady sits me 5 minutes down barely put any numbing serum and proceeds right away to the operation. I barely felt a tingle sensation by the lip and I know when I’m ready because I been through this and my face is supposed to be numb. She drills my tooth and I felt everything ! I shaked and moved uncontrollably left and right and she didn’t stop. My body and nerves were in so much shock I have really sensitive teeth. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t scream and she almost sliced my tongue! Instead of apologizing she has the nerve to tell me “in the code if dentistry you can’t move” well in the code of medicine you shouldn’t operate patients who are not numb! She did not know what she was doing Dr.Yacoobi! It is like an a patient waking up from a surgery and an anesthesiologist blaming the patient for being moving around because they weren’t numb. I am completely traumatized and they had the nerve not to apologize. Also instead of prescribing me a dental fluoride toothpaste that you can get for free or a very small co payment at the pharmacy they want me to pay them $40 so they can make a profit . All they care is how many patients they can get done. She also offered to promote her business to my job place since I work in healthcare. They are here just to make a quick buck and profit off of their patients. Not even 5 minutes let’s do the surgery or operation. People like her should have her licensed revoked. She did the same thing to some of my relatives. She’s lucky that I didn’t take her to court to sue her or complain to the board of Dentistry. Disgusting ! Don’t come to these people unless you want to get traumatized, the pain is not worth it !!! Never again ! Scam and Fraud be aware !!!"

"The receptionist was NOT accommodating to new patient. No explanation in fill up the form because she was busy chatting to other person. Sounds like rude. Dentist, technicians and hygienist were excellent."

"My family was looking to switch to a dentist that is closer to where we live. Finding a good dentist is very stressful, there are too many out there wanting to farm you out for all sorts of things. I went today as the "test case" and I couldn't be happier! Xrays are never fun but the technician was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. The tech who cleaned my teeth was also knowledgeable - my teeth have never been this clean! The dentist who came in at the end took her time. Again, all were knowledgeable and kind.The rest of my family will be following my lead - this is the beginning of a long partnership. I already booked my 6mo appt. I highly recommend this practice!"
