"Great place for mens clothes and absolutely knowledgeable staff"

"Deceptive advertising. Bought a tuxedo shirt but was skeptical about the fit... the clerk said not to put it on in the store but to try it at home and if I didn't like it then to bring it back. I tried it at home, and it was large enough to fit a cow so I brought it back but then I'm told that not only would they not give me a refund, but they also don't have a smaller size shirt available, Then I'm told that they wouldn't order a smaller size shirt because if I don't like it then they would be stuck with it. They offer me a credit when I have absolutely no use for it and say that I should've looked closely at the receipt. The interesting part is that the receipt is stapled in front of the sales slip and the staples conveniently sits over the word no refunds. I was asked to come back several times while the clerk had to ask for the boss's permission for the return. In the end I had to open a dispute with the credit card company. Also, to note that on the 3rd day of my back-and-forth adventure, a similar type of shirt was opened for another gentleman who came in and they were advised to try it on, hence if it didn't fit them, they would not be stuck with it, since if they were to try it on their own time outside of the store then they would not see their money back. When I mentioned that I'll be writing this review, they laughed and said that they don't care because they have been in business for 55 years."

"I can recommend that place. I have received all attention and was taken care of like at home. After trying a few suits I found the one I really liked. The tailor served with his expertise how to correct some details to make the suit even better. I bought a suit, a shirt and a tie. All corrections were made within a week. They even iron the shirt for free! I paid much below $500 for everything. I definitely will be back when needed!"

"I haven't been living in the Bronx for long, but I am already so attached to this place. Michael and Jimmy are the best at what they do (the shop's been open for more than 50 years for a reason!) They will never try to upcharge you or sell you more than what you need. They are only concerned with making you look as great as you possibly can. If you need men's suits, pants, shirts, or shoes, this is the place to go."

"I’ll start by saying I walked out of 3 suit places before this. The owner and his wife went out of there way to accommodate my time frame and make my experience painless. Had the tailor come in on a Saturday because they were going to close for a week for vacation. As a business owner myself I can appreciate when the owner goes out there way for the customer. They now have a customer for life. Definitely recommend."
