"Well, it’s here. Which, for Manchester, is a plus. But that’s about it. Food is somewhat passable most of the time. Management isn’t friendly. Servers are friendly. Here’s how eggs & bacon went: eggs sunny side up cooked in that funky gold “diner griddle oil” that I had to blot off with my napkin. Old bacon reheated by deep frying it. Toast served with a white butter-like shortening mix typical of cheap diners. The ice water was good though."
"Horrible..Broccoli was brought to me old brownish color… flounder was not good and the rice pilaf was just rice. Chicken fingers for the kids was big and undiserable for a 3 yr old. The plating was horrible It use to be very good now it’s just about the money. Last sever times coming here was not good at all. What’s going on now that it’s no where near what it use to be. Will give one more chance to get it right. Sad thing the waitress knew it and still allowed that old broccoli to on my plate.. she literally stated yes I know I had to tel. Her to take it off my plate. I just should have gotten my money back… I won’t return there…. Can’t be the same owners…"
"This place has been here forever. It seems. I’ve gotten good soups from there before and a take away burger that was good but most dining experiences here were mediocre at best. Diner, along route 70 in Lakehurst, and holds quite a few people with fairly roomy tables with an old look From many years gone by. This is not one of those eclectic places that hoard every imaginable kind of junk, it is reminiscent of an old school of New Jersey diner, and at its core it is. But it is dated more to the 80s. Many people choose to eat lunch at the counter here, and usually around dining hours the parking lot is fairly full. Look for anything homemade on the menu and a special that day and you’re likely to be satisfied. Other menu items aren’t so spectacular because it started out frozen 20 minutes before you ordered it. The Fairest part is the prices of specials make this an affordable place for a family compared to so many places around this area."
"Overall it was ok. The breakfast sandwiches were good. I got the corned beef hash and asked for it well done. Not burned. I've had better here so I don't know if it was just an off day or something..."
