"I haven't even stepped foot inside yet, but I've heard the food is very good. I really don't know anything about the owner or the staff. That being said, people I do know were involved in 2 separate fights there, so in a very short time period, the place has gotten a bad reputation. This will not prevent me from going, nor should it prevent others since those were isolated incidents among people who knew each other. Best of luck to DD Tavern. I will update with my personal review after I have eaten there."
"Cute little spot in the middle of South Amboy to grab a cocktail and unexpectedly good bar bites. The shrimp app is a must get. Didnt personally like the empanadas but it's all good. Best buffalo wrap ever. It's like a local neighbor dive bar with luxury of good service food and cocktails. Will come back"
"Came here after Over Easy Kitchen in Holmdel for the game for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! The vibes are very nice - rustic farmhouse with 6 TV's. Bar seating, bar table seating and regular seating. The food is absolutely delish! We had the Sweet Chili Shrimp, Garlic Parmesan Wings and their churros- everything was so good!! If you like hot dogs their chili dogs with fries are also amazing!! Even thought it's bar vibes it's kids friendly with their kids menu- my son truly enjoyed his kids cheeseburger sliders. Thank you Michelle for a very nice experience!!"
