Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

"I should've known not to have high expectations when you can on a Saturday afternoon and they have no problem taking a reservation for a party of 14 the same evening. Service was slow and there weren't many people in the place other than our group. Waited an hour and a half for food to come out. When it arrived,other than fajitas, everything was cold. The waitress took the dishes back to warm, probably in the microwave. 2 of us had the steak which was so small, fatty and flavorless, not worth the almost $27 we paid for it. Other people said their food was okay. Ordered a few fried ice creams and they must've run out of vanilla and decided to give chocolate instead, which the consensus was that it was awful. Even the kids didn't eat it. Churros were said to be good though. After being there for about 2 1/2 hours, the bill comes and we come to find they charge for everything. Fajitas and Tacos didn't come with cheese so they charged $2 for a tiny cup of it, not even enough for one fajita. They even charged $1.50 for a small portion of hot sauce and sour cream. Who charges for hot sauce? We questioned the bill and the waitress had the nerve to show the menu where it lists those items as sides. Sides! Seriously? She even said that when they tell people upfront about those charges they get mad, so clearly they know it's an issue. Most places provide hot sauce and most fajitas and tacos come with cheese and sour cream. After some dispute, they ultimately did take those "side" items off the check. But the nerve, after slow, poor service and reheated food that they would've been more compensating. Due to our party size they included an automatic 20% gratuity, which on the amount of our bill, the waitress definitely did not deserve. Needless to say we will not be returning. Very disappointing since it's a nice little place, to have this quality food and service."

"I ordered the salmon fajitas. They were fresh and tasty. This restaurant had me reminiscing on my Mexico trip in 2022. The atmosphere was authenticly beautiful. Hand painted walls and chairs set the mood right. I will definitely be returning."

"The food was on point. Just as I expected it coming from the region of Jalisco Mexico. It brought back memories of my mom’s home cooking. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for their traditional style of cooking."

"The food was very good. They had many vegan options. The salsa was tasty. Fresh filtered water was on the table. And servings are huge! We took so much food home with us. So if you dine here, come hungry, you won't be disappointed. But the real reason I'm giving five stars is for AMAZING service. My husband and I had two very nice ladies taking care of us. They were very attentive and had great personalities. The atmosphere is very festive and they play great music."

"This was my first time at Mariachi, and the food was very, very good! The first course was a shrimp scampi, which was extremely flavorful and not overcooked like most places cook shrimp! I would return for this alone! I also got the trio of fajitas with the chicken, steak and shrimp. These were also flavorful and very well cooked, as nothing was dry and tasteless. I will certainly be back, and I recommend this place for anyone who wants good food in the area."
