"Eleva was a great place to drink coffee and get a little bit of work done. My oat latte was great and for a weekend morning, there was a good mix of people working and hanging out. The music for that time of day was at a decent volume that lent itself to the calm ambience."

"Good cappuccino but everyone was kicked out at 4:45pm. If you are open until 5, that means we can enjoy our food/drinks until 5 then you lock the door. Not tell everyone twice to leave at 4:45 so you can clean & leave by 5. It left me never wanting to return."

"Cafe is beautifully designed and a lovely place to sit. However the matcha latte I ordered was pretty bad, it was a light swampy green color instead of a vibrant green color that is indicative of good matcha. The taste was very bland, hardly had any tea flavor at all, and was just very disappointing. When I asked the barista to adjust the drink, she added more matcha powder without an issue, but before handing it to me, she insisted I pay an additional $2 for the adjustment. She explained that they use 2 teaspoons of powder for every cup of matcha and I was asking for too much. I refused to pay more for to fix the drink I ordered, since typically you would not pay to fix the business’ error. I ended up getting a refund instead, even though the drink was already adjusted and sitting behind the counter. It was thrown away… This felt like pure pettiness to me and left a bad taste in my mouth (literally). Having just traveled to Japan and had many authentic and delicious matcha lattes, here is my suggestion: increase the ratio of matcha to milk even if you must charge more money. 2 tsp of matcha per 16 oz of liquid is not enough. Recipes online call for 3 tsp of high quality matcha per 8 oz of liquid. If the powder is a swamp green color, it should not be used for drinking. This is why some people think matcha tastes like seaweed or fish, because they are being served low grade matcha. Can you imagine if $6 coffee were made so carelessly? Lastly, it feels punitive to charge people for adjustments to drinks that fell short of their expectations, especially to mention it after the drink had already been fixed. This is not the kind of treatment I have received at other businesses and is really unfortunate."

"The decor of Eleva Coffee GPL is elegant, brilliant and perfect for a relaxing moment. The staff was super nice and friendly. We extremely enjoyed our time there on a Sunday morning. We had 2 cups of Latte, Breakfast Empanada, Chocolate Croissant and a box of Milk Chocolate Alfajores. The coffee was refreshing with a gentle smell and the food was overall decent. Our favorite was the Alfajores, the texture was delicate and the flavor wasn’t too sweet."
