"Had to try this iconic place. Definitely worth the visit, although a notch below some of the other NH places I have tried. Clam pie with bacon was excellent, although the dough was a little too delicate to handle the moist toppings. Flavor was on point. Cesar salad was excellent to go with the pie."

"I like this place, it's probably better as local than as a tourist. As a tourist, if you're coming to NY, you won't get a quintessential NY pizza experience here. As a local, you get that all the time, and this is can be a breath of fresh air. I did get a bite of shell in the clam pie, but honestly whatever. It's a good pizza, especially with some red pepper and garlic. The Margherita was pretty on point. The veggie has terrific flavor, just sits a little heavier than you'd probably want from a veggie pie. It does feel a bit dreary looking out onto Central Ave in Yonkers while you wait for your pizza. Across the street I believe is a Shell, Carvel and a Subway. Probably not gonna win most romantic restaurant or anything."

"Still worth the drive to New Haven. This is good but the original New Haven location has a better overall taste and other subtle differences. IMO, others may feel differently. Large white clam, onions, bacon, broccoli. $50 plus tax."

"We used to eat here regularly many years ago but have moved away. When we last visited 7 years ago we thought the pizza taste/quality had declined, but on this recent visit, the pizza was much better. Service isn’t amazing but is fine. Ordered salad, 2 cheese and 1 pepperoni pizza, and tiramisu."

"This is a vintage pizzeria if I could use that term for it! The first time I try it was in the original one in New Heaven and it was good! However I was pregnant. 18 years latter I am at the Yonkers location and I did enjoyed it again! The pizza dough is nice and crispy, the ingredients you can taste them individually even though they are together and the sauce or mozzarella cheese doesn’t over power over the taste. Definitely a place to go when you are near any of their locations. The sizes are generous and quite big. I was there with my nephew and hubby we ordered a large pizza and a medium. What was left was almost the size of a small pizza and my husband alone can eat a large pizza ( Canadian size) by himself. The Italian sausage was really good it has that particular flavour that nowadays you won’t find it."
