Nanuet Diner

"Unfortunately I only went to eat at this diner once and I was not all that impressed with their food. The only reason I am giving Three stars is because of their service. Very nice and friendly staff. But if you go there for the food, which 98% of the time that's the case, you will be highly disappointed. I just don't know what it was. Ive been to other diner and the food was amazing. this place, the eggs were cold, the meats were dry and the bread was stale. Even the coffee was burnt. Yes you can burn coffee. The should constantly make fresh pots. This was my experience."

"Come here for the people, not the food. The service is excellent and the manager always goes out of his way to treat people extremely well. But the food is terrible. It’s not just one item, it’s a lot of the food on the menu. I don’t know if it’s the oil, or the way the food is kept in the back or just some poor quality ingredients—but it’s not what it used to be. I know there’s not a lot one should expect from a diner, especially in an age where everyone is cutting corners for the sake of profit——but come on, guys!!! Please redo your menu or maybe swap out for better ingredients (i.e. oil, meat, etc). I’d be willing to pay a few extra dollars for a better plate. Otherwise, I love everyone that works here, they are so wonderful!!!"

"We gave this diner a try despite the 3.6 star average, and we are SO glad we did! Not only were the staff hugely accommodating and understanding of our three adorable yet boisterous godchildren, but the food was excellent quality and flavorful! If you'd like a less massive hamburger (they do the standard diner half-pounder), the kids meal hamburger is perfectly good sized and excellent quality beef. Our waiter was especially kind, not taking issue with either the kids or my mom with her special requests. Lastly, they got us a nice big round booth for the kids to be comfortable, and the classic diner architecture and decor were very charming. Five stars all around!"

"I went there for dinner for two and it was an amazing experience . - food price usually range from 8 to 20 bucks. - kids meals are about 9 bucks but the burger is massive for kids as well. - overall food quality was amazing, burgers are juicy and buns are fresh . Fries could have been better . - cookies are soft but well done - service is prompt - cocktails are budget friendly - most of them are about 7-8 bucks. - overall place is clean including the restrooms. Overall, highly recommended."

"Our family had a late dinner which was very convenient because they're open 24 hours. My short ribs were pretty awesome, my wife's pork chops were okay, and my son's egg Benedict was terrible because of the hollandaise sauce. Our service was pretty good, the gentleman that attended us was very polite and helpful."
