"Been coming here for years. Fresh and delicious sushi and everything else. Great atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. Zack is a great waiter. Always there when you need him or anyone else. You gotta try the Godzilla, it's outta this world."

"Sad to say the place is rundown and dirty. It’s in need of a deep cleaning and makeover, bad. The sushi was subpar for the first time. Lunch had a slight fishy smell to it. I won’t be back. Used to love it at Sakana."

"The sushi boat was amazing. The service was great and I think it is some of the best sushi around the area."

"The sushi here is second to none, I ordered spicy tuna with pepper tuna on top, very tasty and fresh. The owner and workers are all extremely nice. Shot out to Simon!!"

"This is it!!! New favorite sushi spot. I used to go to Bada when I lived closer to Suffern, but of all the sushi places I've tried in the Nanuet area, Sakana is by far the most refined, fresh, and authentic. This place knows real sushi and has a nice wine and dessert selection as well. All of my meals here have been exceedingly delicious - go see for yourself!"
