Sergio’s Missione

"We have not been to Sergio’s since August and it saddens me, as very long time diners, we will not return. During our last experience, the food was not good at all. Since Sergio left, the food went downhill and the prices went up. You would think the new owners would have done everything they can to live up to the standards of what Sergio’s worked so hard to build. It was a gold mine and our go-to restaurant since we live in town. We miss Carlos and Theresa and miss not going there for Christmas Eve. Instead we drove 1/2 hour to a fine dining BYOB with the same pricing and wonderful food! Wake up Sergio’s - you had a well known brand and you allowed it to go downhill!"

"This was my first time here and it's a very nice looking BYOB restaurant The menu is limited which as a top chef I am myself for 50 years totally believe in a limited menu My wife ordered Salmon and I ordered veal francaise. Based on the type restaurant the items on the menu were over priced in my expert opinion and the size per portion just backed up my comment of menu being over priced. My wife's Salmon was dry and over cooked and my veal francaise needed alot of pressure to cut the veal. I rather pay a even higher price and be served a top cut of veal to be used in my veal francaise The service was good but had a communication problem telling my waiter can I have salt & pepper He brought me the pepper and in place of salt was a bowl of grated cheese? I will try going again with my wife for dinner as every restaurant out there has a bad night. RT"

"Fabulous dinner and wonderful service at this lovely byob restaurant! This place was recommended to us- and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The Caesar salad, coconut encrusted sea bass, veal, lemon meringue pie & cappuccino were all amazing. We brought a yummy bottle of wine with us - and another perfect dinner was had!"

"Recommended by a friend and now by me, Sergio’s is cozy and friendly. It appears small from the outside but they have plenty of space. Wait staff was excellent, friendly and personable. The food was delicious and good portions. They had a special available with octopus and roasted veggies and garlic, I asked for everything without the octopus and it was done without question. They had two parties happening at the same time as we dined and we could not even tell. Though the dining area seemed loud we heard each other without yelling. My dessert was great and the cappuccino was awesome!"

"We do enjoy this place. Haven't been there in a few years. The prices are in line with the current pandemic. Had the artichoke which was spectacular along with crusted, sea, bass and ravioli. All of the food was cooked perfectly. Service was a little slow. We weren't told there was a bigger party which we accepted and understood but towards the end of the meal nobody came back after we got around trays to see how we were doing for a while. The dessert menu came out. Was very happy to see the creme brulee but to My dissatisfaction and one of the other people I was with there was nothing on the menu that said the They made it with coconut flakes in it. Made it not enjoyable at all. We did mention it to the waiter that maybe they should put that on the menu and he kind of just blew it off. Again. We will return here but we will definitely be more cautious and look at what we are ordering"
