"Treated a coworker out for her birthday and the setup/vibes & overall ambiance of the place helped make the dinner & drinks more enjoyable! Garlic shrimp is one of my fave appetizers there. The ladies and I ended up having a nice time! I would recommend for a nice, chill vibe go to for dinner meetup. The acting manager Carlo is phenomenal as far as hospitality and attending/responding to the needs of the customer. Willing to make the experience there better and that’s what great service is all about. We have plans on returning for a few more occasions!"

"Very nice spot that I found on Instagram. Loved the decor! I went on a Wed night just to get out of the house while on my staycation. The drinks were sooo good! I tried the coconut margarita and also the Henny island, Bartenders were friendly. I will definitely return"

"So we came here on a Friday night for dinner unfortunately didn’t get to eat. It looks nice inside a little cramp the outdoor patio looked great but there was a private party. That’s should’ve gave me a idea what I was in for. I don’t think they were staffed enough to take care of both sides. Took 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. One drink was amazing other one was watered down. Music was a bit loud. After 40 minutes we gave up on the food. They did say it would take a while but the appetizer didn’t even come out in 40 minutes. I had to ask for water 3 times. Something that should be presented after you sit down. They just didn’t have it together it seemed. Needless to say…NO BUENO"

"I took down my previous review and decided to update it as management reached out personally in hopes to make it right. I hate leaving bad reviews especially for something like wait times so I came again today. I came in eager to get a real picture of tavern 517 and was pleasantly surprised I met the owner of the restaurant and was immediately seated. Staff and owners were incredibly kind. I ordered a mojito and it was pretty good. Apps came out quick and was well cooked, I ordered calamari. Now onto the star of the show- Tavern Burger. Cooked to absolute perfection paired with two separate sauces and fries, it was AMAZING! Will definitely come again."

"Late review, Went for the 1st time in November. I loved the atmosphere. The whole ambiance was so inviting. The waitress was super nice and attentive. The reason for my 4 stars and not 5 was because I the food was just okay. We ordered the steak and Chicken tacos. Unfortunately, it didn't have much flavor. On the other hand, we ordered the Flight for drinks, that was amazing. We happened to go on Karaoke night and that was so much fun."
