"The ice cream always tastes more like straight up ice than anything else. The hot dog all the way had a weird sour flavor. I've given this place 3 tries ... now they're out."
"We stopped by for a quick bite. Had 2 " all the way" and 2 with mustard and kraut. Fries with gravy and with sauce. Large birch beer to wash it down! This place also has a drive thru! Plenty of parking and seats. Nice and clean with decent prices. They also have ice cream with all the fixings. I'd recommend stopping by anytime including breakfast!"
"Great food at a great price, customer service is very good! Had an incident with an order, and they were very easy to deal with. Whipping up a new order right away free of charge. Will continue to come here in the future!"
"Classic, old school burger and dog joint. They have a bunch of other stuff too, pancakes, omelettes, pizzas, etc. Got the lantern special, a dog with sauce and a bottle of soda for $13.10, good value. The lantern special I found to be random, the burger was thin and char-broiled, fine, ham charred, nice, toasted bun with raw onion, great but put altogether it needed something to marry them all up like a special sauce or cheese whiz. The hot dog was on point! Classic chili dog, deep fried with loose chili on a toasted bun."
"Pete took a New Jersey institution like Hot Grill and brought its all-the-way hotdogs and stellar recipes to a new community. Make sure you try the ice cream! Folks who walked in knew the staff and brought their kids."
