"I was actually waiting for my wife who was getting her nails done a few doors down. The owner came out and introduced himself. Extremely nice man, very personable person. I would frequent his restaurant just to support local business next time I'm over that way. And the food's great."

"It was my husband and I first time here, I am currently 8months pregnant and was craving birria tacos for a very long time. We got in and right away a lady greeted us and sat us down, we both order birria tacos. My husband also ordered chicken and steak tacos. Everything was delicious the consomé was very flavorful, it came with cilantro and onion and limes. We devour everything, we were amazed! The cook made the food right in-front of us, the ingredients were fresh kitchen clean, they wore gloves when handling our food. You have to stop for some tacos! We will definitely be back!"

"Tacos Al pastor tastes like Mexico City. Handmade tortillas (upon request) for tacos were totally worth it. Met the owner: really interesting and friendly man. The staff are all polite and very hard working. The tacos Al pastor were better than anything I’ve had on the east coast—- the roasting spit for the Al pastor definitely help brings the authentic flavors into the dish. I live 1.5h away and I will come back as much as i can."

"Second time here. Has only gotten better. The place has expanded, much larger and now serves alcohol. Still a solid authentic Mexican food experience, one of the very few places that has tripa tacos. The birria tacos were good, chicken, and carnitas were tasty too. Absolutely the best horchata i have had anywhere outside of home made. The large single serving easily is shareable by two. Highly recommend choosing it to round out your meal. Although there is a restaurant atmosphere, this is a taqueria, so if you want chips you have to pay. I hope they change this policy."

"So i haven’t been up here long but there isn’t many if any good Mexican spots around. This place here has set the standard. I had the birria tacos and oh my heavens it is delicious. There horchata is amazing, not overly sweet and not overly grainy. They have just expanded and offer more seating now so go now before word gets out that this place is the best Mexican spot in the upstate area."
