Frederic's Flowers of Bedford

"This review includes Avas Flowers who collaborated with Fredric’s Flowers as their representative for my order which was unsatisfactory. My uncle passed away and I coordinated flowers to be sent to the funeral home on behalf of my Mother and siblings. I searched for what I believed to be a flower shop located in the area of his location, and it appeared that I found one, but turned out to be Avas (the listing made it look like they were Fredric’s Flowers but they were not). I selected an arrangement of yellow and white flowers which I then sent a pic of to the rest of my family. They all liked it. The order was to have been delivered Saturday morning but wasn’t. I never got confirmation from Avas and had called them multiple times with no confirmation. Finally I got hold of a funeral director who confirmed receipt and she was kind enough to text me a photo. The flowers were not what I ordered either in color or size/arrangement. I complained to Avas. They did give me a partial refund, however, that didn’t change the fact that the entire experience was horrible, frustrating, involved way too much oversight and many phone calls. The other annoying piece is that the card that Fredric’s flower shop wrote our names and sentiments on looked sloppy and unattractive. A 3rd grader could have done better. NEVER AGAIN."

"New to town and was looking for a local florist. Took the opportunnity to use Frederic's. I am beyond pleased with every aspect. The online process was easy, and provided plenty of options. I got a verification call before delivery. The flowers are wonderful and have now lasted nearly a week without any degradation! I will use Frederic's for any further local floral needs! Great Job y'all."

"My boyfriend sent me flowers all of them but 1 out of 4 different kinds were replaced and yes the website says they can use replacements however don’t replace all of them with greenery. For example carnations instead of roses. My advice is call the exact shop you order them from and make sure they have all of the flowers they need to make that arrangement when ordering online. My boyfriend and I were treated very poorly and we now need to take time out of our day to exchange the flowers needless to say the special moment has now turned into dreadful chore. The owner was immediately upset and even insulted my intelligence when I asked some specific questions about making it right with me. I have to make the drive and the hours didn’t work with my schedule since they’re only open for a few hours a day. Don’t expect an apology I honestly expected more out of our little town of Bedford."

"My parents live in Bedford and whether it is Mother's Day or a birthday delivery Frederic's has been doing it right for years. I am happy since they deliver on-time and are reasonably priced. But best of all my mother is always beyond happy with the arrangements she receives. Highly recommended."

"They went above and beyond all my expectations for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. I ordered the arrangement blind, with just the florist phone number while driving home from Montana. My Mom went on and on about how beautiful the arrangement was. I started to feel a little bad for taking the credit, since I never even saw what I sent. They made Mom and Dad happy, and that's all that matters. Today is Mom's 81st birthday, and Frederic's is getting my business again."
