"Absolutely horrible provider. She will tag you along to keep getting sessions out of you. Super unprofessional. Will charge cards without authorization. Will try to make you pay for appt SHE canceled. My brother just opened up a case and law suit for fraud against this woman for these sessions"
"Wendy has not been a good therapist for our minor child. She has been manipulative of situations and on accounts that our daughter lies and embellishes we find Wendy validates it. Our daughter was in a better place mentally before she started seeing Wendy. If I could turn back time I would make the court find another therapist. My heart breaks knowing that she has been miss lead and divided from her parents. Do yourself and your child a favor and keep looking for another family therapist or you will have a far more broken family than when you started. I wish I could give 0 stars."
"Wendy Haupt is a consummate professional and experienced provider with the courage to take hard cases. Wendy treated my children with respect, dignity and patience even when they were less than receptive to treatment. When dozens of other providers were unwilling to work with us, Wendy took us on as clients. I highly recommend Wendy to anyone seeking treatment for their children."
"Wendy has helped us tremendously in coparenting sessions this past year. We have been in the midst of a high conflict divorce, and working out our differences has been challenging. Wendy has brought a wealth of knowledge, patience, and unbiased counseling to each session. Would recommend her services to anyone"
"My ex-husband and I were court ordered to see a therapist with regards to custody back in 2016 due to the fact we went through a bad custody case and divorce that left us not speaking. My ex-husband chose Wendy to be the therapist. Starting in 2016, my ex and I have had weekly therapy sessions with Wendy for many years. I've known Wendy as a therapist for 7 years, she is an ethical person, she literally hears both sides of an argument and tries her best to help the parents reach an agreement where both parties gain something they want. She is not a side taker. She is neutral. Wendy is one of the best advocates for children and her intentions are to help the parents to do what is best for the child. Kids want to see both parents. She believes the child deserves to be with both parents. Statistical date and research show that divorce can leave children depressed and suicidal, especially when the parents don’t get along and the child doesn’t see BOTH parents often. She really cares for children and wants to see them happy. I wish she was a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL). She has also met with my children before. She does very well with kids. She also supports both men and women equally. Wendy is a very fair and ethical person, and she listens to both sides and always tries her best to help us come to a middle ground agreement. Sometimes her hands are tied and there's nothing she can do when we disagree because she does NOT have the power the court has to make custody arrangement changes. Even if we disagree with Wendy’s advice and solutions, she is more than willing to hear what we have to say and discuss it with us. She is NOT pushy or unreasonable. She just keeps trying to help the parents find another solution that might work. I find that she is easy to talk to and work with. I'm grateful that I have met Wendy and I trust Wendy. She is trustworthy and nonjudgmental. We plan to keep her as our therapist for at least another 9 years (until my son is 18) if not longer. She believes in fairness, straight down the middle fairness. Over the years Wendy has tremendously helped us repair our relationship to the point that we are now amicable and work very well together with regards to custody over our child. You would never know that we ever had issues and didn't speak to each other. She would also make an exceptional marriage counselor as well. Wendy has helped my son become happy and has helped us to be better coparents. How many exes that went through a really bad divorce can say they talk regularly and even volunteer together and have coffee together? To this day we still continue to see Wendy and obtain her advice and check in with her. I highly recommend Wendy if you want a fair person to help repair your broken relationship. Note: it also takes a good amount of work on both our parts to make teamwork happen. Sometimes other partners aren't willing to change or work as a team. It's not the therapist’s fault if some issues are not reconcilable. The negative reviews that I have read are probably based on several factors. 1. The parent is selfish, wants sole custody and doesn't want to work in the best interest of the child. 2. Miscommunication issues and they didn't take the time to discuss it with Wendy. 3. They blame Wendy for the court’s decision, which she has NO control over. 4. She is NOT a liar, probably someone misspoke, misheard and/ or there's a miscommunication somewhere that needs to be addressed. Wendy is the type of person that will collaborate with you to address issues, even if you have issues with her advice. FYI: my current husband had to post this on my behalf since I don't have a Google account"
