"Nice river views of the Appomattox river and the James river where they both intersect, walking trails , sitting/fishing pier. Some interesting information about the history here"

"It is absolutely beautiful! The water is therapy for me. I love just sitting and listening to the water while everything else around me doesn't matter at that time."

"Love this place. It has a long dock right on the river, and the park dominates the waterfront for about a mile. It's long and narrow, and it has two giant parking lots. It is one of very few places you can go after dark. It is great place to hangout by yourself, and also always trouble to find if your're looking for it. It's never shy of new, interesting, and very fun people to meet. Especially after dark lol my girl loves this spot as well prob more than me honestly she definitely gets her "complete fill" of nature and always leaves "overflowing" with joy"

"This is such a peaceful, quiet park. I have rarely seen many people here. There's a decent parking lot, and some parking down the road a bit. Restrooms and a really nice little boardwalk. Some picnic areas, and quite a few people fishing. Today, though, I followed the trail around the point. I had no idea what was down there, but it was beautiful. At the end of the trail I could just barely see the Hopewell Boardwalk. Definitely worth a stop, a hike, a picnic or just a little quiet time."

"Beautiful park and area in general. Great to take family. The walk around does tend to get very muddy at spots. There is a picnic table that is covered, but could use more in the area. Plenty of logs to take a seat asking the path if that’s your jam."
