"This a lovely park in the middle of a traffic circle. It’s always cleaned, leaves are removed, no pet pollution, benches are cleaned and wiped down. It’s a nice place to sit a read a book on a Sunny afternoon and people watch"
"I'm 84 but have fond memories of walking through Sherman Circle only way to Barnard Elementary. I lived in the 4400 block of Kansas Ave. It seemed like along walk for a kindergartner. Times were so different. I actually pulled up my old house which had been meticulously renovated."
"Great roundabout park , I like this style of community designed neighborhoods, with a park in the center , and surrounded by a roundabout. I think it's a great way to manage traffic on intersecting streets as well as a good place for nature and recreation to cohabit in the middle of Petworth."
"Nice little park with plenty of shade around on hot days. Park benches are installed now so there are places to sit around. This is a great place to bring your pets or kids to run around. The playground at EL Haynes is a short walk from the circle too."
