"Look elsewhere you do not want anything to do with this business. Not too mention they don't have a physical building they run out of because it's for lease. You try to open up and be honest and he feels like he's being attacked. Paul Callis is clearly in the wrong profession."

"To be honest I am a bit shocked with all of the negative reviews I have read on here. My experience has been the opposite. I have had no trouble calling and booking an appointment, I have had no trouble calling to reschedule and I have had no problems accepting the phone call from the doctor for my scheduled appointment. I have been under the care of medical professionals for my depression and anxiety for years and I’ve never felt as heard as I do when I discuss what is going on and my symptoms with Paul Callis. He’s been a great medical provider and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Lafayette Psychiatric!"

"Don't waste your time with this practice. I had a appointment with a doctor and I was switched to another without being told. Also my appointment was to be a in office appointment. The doctor said he called 3 times but there was no voice mail set up He never called. My voice mail has always been set up and I checked it and he left no messages. So he basically lied. Then was 30 minutes behind. Keep in my thought it was in office so I actually went to the office .....then is when I was informed about the doctor change and video call appointment. Then he lied a never called. I was told to reschedule my appointment. No thanks. This practice is not what I need. But I guess it will do if anything will work for you. This was my first appointment with this Dr. Callis He lied he never called. My voice mail has always been set up I wasted my time and money only to be told to reschedule. Unprofessional, uncaring, I would not recommend this practice to anybody....I see I got a reply from the owner. If my accusations are false why the reply in the first place. I will have my life coach to support my claims of medical neglegence being she is the one that delivered my intake paperwork and referred the practice. Nothing I stated is false or un true. It is obviously a poor attempt of a smear campaign to patients that speak out. Your practice is poorly maintained and Managed."

"If you suffer from difficult diagnosis, skip this place, it will exacerbate your symptoms just dealing with them. Don't get me wrong. They aren't the worst psychiatric care providers in the area, that would be NCSB. However, while knowledgeable and capable, everyone I came in contact with over the span of a year (from reception to Physicians Assistant Callis) seemed to have blatantly negative attitudes on MOST occasions. Also, the overall communication leaves much to be desired. There is really no consistency in regards to their response times to emails and voice messages. If the provider does respond to your voice message, reception never calls to tell you. They may or may not respond to your emails (the prescribers, not reception). And prescribers seem to have no patience. If you don't need your medications adjusted, have no complexities in regards to what medications you can and cannot take, don't ask questions or expect your chart to be reviewed PRIOR to your visit/call, and don't mind feeling as though you are not being heard, this place will do. If you need a place that won't treat you like a burden for asking questions, or even just a provider with a little more patience and bedside manner, look elsewhere."
