"A friend of mine referred me to Mark when I got a terrible pinched nerve in my neck. It hurt so bad at first that the pain and some numbness went down through my shoulder and arm. I couldn’t even drive to work for the first few weeks. I used to do several reps of push-ups and pull-ups in my workout routines and now I couldn’t do a single one. Mark’s initial appointment was a few weeks out so I had to see another PT in the meantime. For a while I actually continued with the other PT and also started with Mark at the same time. I was worried that Mark might be offended of this but he was totally cool with the fact that I saw another PT at the same time as him. He spends quality time with you for each appointment and is a very good listener. Each visit Mark would ask how I was doing and ask about what I was doing with the other PT and then come up with a protocol for me based on that information. He also didn’t try to overload me with appointments like some places do. He is very practical and understands that everyone doesn’t have infinite time and money for excessive appointments. Mark was also able to give me exercises based on the equipment I have at my gym, at home, and at my office so that if I didn’t have time to go to the gym I could exercise at home or at work. Apparently nerve injuries can take a long time to heal and I would often get mentally discouraged, but Mark tracks everything so well that he would encourage me by doing some tests each session to prove that I was in fact getting better and stronger. So with Mark you are not only getting physical therapy but some mental therapy as well. Like a great coach, Mark will workout your mind, body, and spirit so you leave each session feeling better than when you walked in. It has now been several months and I’m not quite fully recovered but I know I’m on my way and in good hands."
