Dr. David Hebda, Neural Pyschologist

"After a brain injury in 2014, my entire life changed, and I was faced with issues with work, school, and every day life. This severely affected my quality of life, in many different ways. Every single day was excruciating. As a 21 year old woman at the time, my mental capacity felt like that of a toddler. I thought I had absolutely no path forward for healing and success. I could not even comprehend my symptoms nor my issues. After visiting Dr. David Hebda in 2016 for an evaluation, he provided me with a highly detailed report of my symptoms, issues with mental processing due to my brain injury, and an additional diagnosis based on the tests that he conducted. With this, I was given a pathway, an explanation, and a way to move forward. Dr. David Hebda’s work helped me to “work around” my disability and understand at a scientific level what was going on with myself. Although I visited Dr. Hebda once per a psychological visit, the information he provided was invaluable. I’m still using it today to understand the current issues that I am facing (his work always helps me to understand myself). Additionally, my disability and brain injury are not physically detectable. They are completely invisible and cannot be seen by one’s eyes. I was surprised (and I am really thankful for life). He really took the time to help me and provided recommendations that helped my neurologist and helped me with school. This review does not do his work justice. I could write for hours about how a few hours of his time changed the trajectory of my life."

"I'd been suffering from memory decline of unknown origin for several years. I was referred for Neuropsychological Testing (rule out early-onset Alzheimers, Dementia, etc.) by my Neurologist, which Dr. Hebda performed. I was very impressed with Dr. Hebda. He seems extremely knowledgeable and performed the test in a very professional, efficient manner. He has a "down to business" approach but made me feel like he truly cared for my welfare and was genuinely interested in helping me. I enjoyed talking with him and found his insights interesting and enlightening. Per the test results, he produced an extensive report (20 pgs.) which thoroughly outlined the root of my issues. The report also included a detailed plan going forth to improve my memory as well as addressing contributing issues in my day-to-day life which I found to be extremely helpful and will no doubt find to be a valuable resource. I was a bit skeptical about the testing itself at first (I'd never heard of such a thing) but I am so glad I went ahead and did it. it was quite lengthy and took several hours of my day but it was time well spent. I learned a lot about myself. Clarification: The dr. I saw was David “W” Hebda. I now realize there are two David Hebdas at the same location!"
