Courtyard by Marriott Chesapeake Greenbrier 1562 Crossways Boulevard, Chesapeake, VA 23320

"Out of all of the places we stayed during in the area this has been the worst. Our room was still dirty from the last guest and we had found a pair of dirty underwear still in our room. Much of the room was dusty and the AC looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. As far as amenities go the pool was closed and their bistro was closed every single night we were there. It also looked like they unhooked the bedside phone years ago and have just left the phone jack by the bed(?) clearly caked in years of dust and still plugged into the wall."

"Besides the location that is fine, this hotel does not deserve any star. The room smells like cheese. The front desk clerk was completely on a different planet. The hotel room displayed a different name on the TV screen. There was no bottled water offered, nor was any in the room. NOPE for future stays, for sure."

"Must I say this is the worst hotel I ever experienced by Marriott. The prices are not what they are once u arrive. There’s no complimentary breakfast charging $100 plus nightly. Under Construction needs to be told to us customers on the app or on google. This hotel should’ve been closed during construction with all the noise. Told me there was not any balcony rooms left & it was. The construction was so loud it woke me up. The rags weren’t clean also the tv’s aren’t working correctly. This place needs to be shut down until construction is done. Floor wasn’t clean this did not look like it belongs to Marriott at all. This experience was like staying at a Motel 6. If u book a room here check the reviews and ask about construction noises. I paid almost $200 for my room & felt like I got robbed I WOULD NEVER BOOK A ROOM HERE EVER AGAIN. It don’t look too clean once u enter anyways. & no coffee. Trash Trash Trash."

"Paid $200 for one night. Construction woke me up & there’s no breakfast. Not only that I asked for a balcony room & they told me it wasn’t any left & I realized it was. The tv’s are trash batteries in remote went dead rooms does not look like it belongs to Marriott. This was my worst experience ever in a Marriott hotel. I WOULD NEVER BOOK A ROOM HERE AGAIN & you shouldn’t either. Should’ve chose Hilton anyways. Charging all this money for one night for a bad experience. The bed lamps were also broken & loose. Then you have to pay for a higher room to be able to receive breakfast. Do not come here go to another Marriott hotel or do Hilton."

"My stay was from Sep 22 - Sep 25. I unfortunately had a flight cancelled so I missed my first night stay. This hotel is under construction, they do have posted signs that states construction noise is from 9a-6p. When I first checked in I was given a room on the first level. As I walk into the room it appeared it was still occupied or the staff just never cleaned the room. The bed was messy, towels all over the floor and TV was on. I went back to the front desk and was given a second room, now on the second floor. This room smelled so moldy. The bathroom vent had trapped lent and mold. Please save your money until they are done remodeling because it’s not worth the money."
