"I'll start off by saying my therapist is absolutely wonderful and specializes in a rare condition that I have which is the ONLY reason I keep going to ACAC. However their billing department is awful. I had an insurance change at the start of the new year but due to difficulties with obtaining the policy info, I wasn't able to provide it until February. The policy, however, was backdated to the beginning of January and my visits that were temporarily held as a self pay case due to this insurance snafu were supposed to be reprocessed under insurance. I told Lindsay Hoffman, the in house billing coordinator, as well as the corporate billing department, multiple times to reprocess the claims through insurance and it was after numerous phone calls and emails that they finally did, but under the WRONG DATES OF SERVICE. Now I'm stuck paying for visits that my insurance should have covered but did not due to ACAC's negligence in failing to keep their papers in order and follow my simple requests. One of my family members also recently started needing physical therapy and chose to avoid ACAC because of this very problem."
