"I thoroughly enjoyed my meeting with Dr. George Aguiar. He gave me a sense of comfort and assurance. After examining and checking my x-ray he said my elbow and shoulder needed some tests and procedures which I agreed to rightaway, unlike my past visits to some orthopedicians who tend to take an aggressive route and put an embargo on daily activities, Dr. Aguiar was pragmatic. When asked he said that my tennis was bothering my shoulder than my golf. I went to him as a friend spoke very highly of him and it was an outstanding experience."

"I was seen the same day. That never happens with any other doctor. Dr. Tracy was friendly and right to the point. She helped allay my wife's worst fears while coming up with a treatment plan to address what was likely happening. I'm very impressed and would recommend her to anyone who needs help with their feet."

"This review is for PT Seamus Lynch. I was extremely disappointed in the care I received from young Mr. Lynch. I have a serious and very painful condition that forces me to use a wheelchair much of the time. I came to OrthoVirginia PT for qualified help in returning strength to my legs, so I could safely walk again. After 2 or 3 visits to the clinic where I was taught a few exercises, Seamus abruptly told me not not come back. He said that because I didn't need any "manual therapy", and I'd had some experience working out in a gym before, that I should be able to basically just go home and heal myself. I asked if I could at least return for follow up visits, and Seamus said "Uh huh, you get one follow up within 30 days." Low and behold, it's over 2 months later, and my condition has not improved. In fact it's gotten worse. You know some patients like me might not require "manual therapy". And I'm sure that's distressing to some PTs, because they'd prefer to bill the insurance company and/or Medicare top dollar to provide said manual therapy. The fact is patients like me still need the help of trained therapists to provide the all important guidance and accountability. A PT is required to progress us gradually through a therapeutic exercise regimen, in order to achieve sustainable improvement in our strength and function. That did not happen here. I'm extremely upset that instead I was simply blown off to fend for myself."

"Dr. Aguiar was so great! His care, concern, and patience with us was so appreciated. We thought we were coming in for a sprained knee and it turned out to actually be Lyme disease. He walked my son through everything he was doing before he did it and just gave us a great sense of comfort. He even called us and texted the next day. Thank you, Dr. Aguiar!"

"Recently I had foot surgery with the awesome Dr. Lutta. His PA, Tracy Tartaglione, has done many of the follow-up appointments to ensure my foot is healing well. Both are fantastic and supportive. They always take time to ensure all my questions and concerns are addressed. They are a wonderful orthopedic team; I'm delighted to have found them!"
