"Today was my first visit to Valkey Eye Clinic. My primary Dr thought I may have shingles in my eye so she was able to get a quick appointment for me. The staff here are friendly and professional. Dr. Deibert was very thorough in his exam and took time to explain everything in an understanding manner. I would highly recommend this Clinic to anyone looking for eye care."

"My daughter had an eye emergency, after going to Urgent Care she was suppose to follow up the next day with an eye doctor. Her normal Optometrist recently retired so I told her to call the office to see if they was accepting new patients. They actually gave her an appointment for that day! The staff is more than willing to help you in anyway & Dr Deibert provides great care to his patients. You will NOT be treated as “just another patient” in this office!"

"This is our third visit for my son's urgent eye problem. We had an early morning appointment the first two times which went well. We were given a 10:00 am appointment the third time. I didn't triage him and tell them he needed to be seen today. I didn't ask that the fit him at a certain time today. I simply told them what was going on and they set the appointment. It was all at their discretion. We arrived early which was the first mistake. We then waited while there was a rotating door of other appointments coming and going as we waited. I asked Dana if she knew how much longer it would be before we were seen. She said she didn't know because they "fit their urgent appointments between scheduled appointments" as if they were doing me some sort of favor. If that's the case, and we didn't actually have 10:00 am appointment, why even bother? If you are a professional, you should have courtesy for other's time and schedules as well because you should understand the importance. I wouldn't make the doctor come into my office and wait an hour past his appointment without regard to his scheduled clients that may be waiting. Extremely disappointed with the lack of regard for patients and the egotism it takes to treat others in this way."

"I initially saw Dr Deibert over 25 years ago and was very pleased with his ability to fit me with contact. Then I moved to Rockingham County and eventually had RK surgery when I was in my early 30's. Until I was in my 50's I did not need any corrections to my vision but then I needed help to read small print so I went to another eye doctor in Harrisonburg because ihe was closer to home. While this doctor was good I never could get the comfort I needed in my one eye - the contact constantly irritated my left eye so I gave up wearing contacts. I am now 59 and have moved to Luray. I decided it was time to see an eye doctor again as it had been many years since my last one. I am not sure what prompted me to do so but I made the appointment for contacts. OMG! I could not believe what happened at the appointment. First, the office is very nice and the staff is super friendly and down to earth (I had Melissa). The equipment is state of the art and nothing is put in your eyes for dilation nor is there that puff of air that makes your eyes water. But best of all, Dr D is prompt, doesn't waste your time by making you wait, and knows what to do! I walked out of the office with new contacts and couldn't believe how perfectly he "made" them! I never thought I'd be able to see this good again without glasses (which I'm constantly misplacing, bending, forgetting, or they are full of smudges). I simply cannot recommend Dr Deibert, Valley Eye Clinic, and his staff more. It is so nice to not have to worry with glasses any longer. The office couldn't be easier to get to and I would definitely go out of my way to see him than any other eye doctor in the area!"
