"Called on the phone to make a reservation, gave the address and phone number of where I lived. They took my credit card info and set me up for a room for 2 nights. Well when I went to check in they informed me I could not stay at this hotel as I was not 60 miles away. Ok well when I gave you all my info why was I not told then that I couldn’t stay there. I drove all the way up there then had to find another place to rent. The desk clerk was really friendly and I know it wasn’t her fault but Red Rroof in you alls policy really sucks. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone."
"I have my in-laws stay here because the hotel doesn't take in locals. They like to have my kids spend the night while they're here. If you've seen the state of every other hotel around here you will understand why this policy is a must if you don't intend to run a homeless shelter or have cops there all night 6 times a week."
"The room was very clean. Even the under sheets. No sign of any kind of bugs. The television selection was not good but I was there to sleep, not to watch TV. The refrigerator was clean also. The microwave turntable didn't fit the microwave so it didn't rotate. Once again, if it had been a longer stay, I would have asked it to be addressed. Tlhe breakfast was decent. The only negative was that there was a plumbing problem where the water pipes behind the shower leaked when the shower in a different room was used. All in all, a very good sleeping room. Highly recommend!"
"We came for the Bristol Race. For a 2 night stay with a king bed it was almost six hundred dollars. The room was filthy...There was black mold on the wall behind the nightstand and what looked like a used band-aid. UGH. The bathtub stopped up the minute we turned the water. The sheets were clean and the towels were clean but that was about the only things that were clean. The room just felt "sticky and dirty". I could have stayed at a Hilton for the price we paid. I took pictures but unfortunately I can't post them."
