"This is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed! Located centrally near the historic district of Appomattox, this beautifully appointed B and B is just right! If you love beauty, peace and authenticity, this is your place. Lovely, homemade breakfast each morning, plus cereal, fruit and juice. My hostess Dana was lovely and kind. Southern charm at its finest! Highly recommend!"

"I was very disappointed with the inn and room. The room decor and furnishings were much older and not at all like the pictures used for advertising, on which I based my decision. The towels and shower curtain had seen better days. One window blind was old and cracked and one didn't work. The room was dark due to the decor, not light and bright like The Manor Room pics on the web. The B&B is in need of an overhaul in my opinion. Breakfast was basic. The coffee was good, the host was pleasant. But I would not recommend based on my experience."

"Lovely home. It has become one of my favorite bed and breakfasts. Our room was beautiful, very clean, delicious breakfast, charming atmosphere, and close to restaurants and historic attractions. Highly recommend."

"We had a great time here and this is where we will stay again if we come back to the area. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Everything was so clean and well put together, breakfast was good, and everyone was so kind. Thanks again for having us!"

"We enjoyed are stay very much. Definitely would go again. We had the the downstairs bedroom an had a door that went out to one of the outside patios. We went during the week and had the privacy we were looking for. We also appreciated that we didn't have to get up at a certain time to have breakfast. The dining room several options for you to fix your own breakfast. Instant oatmeal, fruit, toast, English muffins, off, hot tea. It was the place for us for the much-needed time alone. We had dinner at the Bancock, and had a great dinner."
