"My husband and I stayed here over Christmas, and were very happy with our experience! Staff were super nice and helpful, rooms were very clean, had no trouble with hot water, and breakfast was good - even though it was over a major holiday and we had low expectations. We had a suite with a separate bedroom, and it was very spacious. We have family in the area and wil definitely return to this hotel!"

"Right off the highway, just over the bridge from the National Park, super easy to find. Didn't arrive until after 10pm and everyone was so nice. The room was very nice, temp was comfortable in the room when we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was great, nice selection of choices, cereal, sausage gravy and biscuits, the makings for breakfast sandwiches or waffles, muffins, yogurt, 3 kinds of juice plus coffee. If I could give more than 5 stars I would."

"With some of the best staff I have come across along with nice rooms, I'd highly recommend. The inn is also located in close proximity to some amazing American history. While here on Thanksgiving, Karen went above and beyond and brought in multiple pies for the guests and handed out slices in the lobby. A great time overall."

"The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff was extraordinary. From the time we checked in with Carson through our stay with Karen and our final checkout with Jonathan. Because of Jonathan's wonderful personality and attention to us on the phone when when we called for information we chose Appomattox Inn to stay. We are so glad we did and got to chat with wonderful staff including Britney and Nancy. So glad we made this choice and will be staying again."

"We were planning to stay in town for one night and had a reservation somewhere else. Upon check in there we decided that was not the safest or best decision. So we drove straight over to the Appomattox Inn hoping they'd have a room for 4 people on short notice. When we walked in, a beautiful fresh smell greeted us along with two unbelievable employees who became our angels that day! The lobby is gorgeous by the way! A well appointed bar for those who partake. So Rebecca and Carson set us up with a great room. We have 2 teenagers and needed a roll away bed and some extra pillows and blankets. Carson promptly had them at our door! Our room was spacious and spotless! Everything about this place was just so welcoming! We felt safe and comfortable! We went out to dinner based on one of the recommendations from staff, it was a delicious home-cooked style meal! We loved it!!!! After a good rest and a hot shower, we went downstairs for breakfast! And a lovely filling breakfast it was! Eggs, ham, sausage, Biscuits, gravy, potatoes, Waffles, breads, muffins, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices, teas and fresh hot coffee! The breakfast staff was all smiles and making sure to keep things filled and exceptionally clean! Our check out was quick and easy! In all my years, I've never encountered a place like this! I was told this hotel has 4 private owners. Who clearly want things a very specific way and holds a high standard for their staff. The details included here are because they have the guests in mind 100%. It's all about you. Lots of little amenities at a reasonable price. I'm positive they have tons of repeat customers!
