"So this use to be the place I told anyone to go. And not so much now this was my second visit in a row that was disappointing. So I get there and waited a while then in triage being called to go over why I'm there I was skipped and finally get called and they took everyone back right away besides me and I'm sorry I could hear why people were there and mine was no different in the level of care needed. So that was frustrating. And the note the perspn wrote in triage im sorry how i read it is rude and almost like making fun of me what i said about hurting!!!Then a rn came out called my name took me in room to then just say what I needed to do with the gown and left that was it not her name re check vitals nothing .. I sat there registering came in and he was so nice A+ on registration. So then the PA came in and while the registration was still in my room ask why I'm there. And I said um I'll wait till he leaves means he's not a nurse or my docotor and that seemed almost irritate him. BUT I explain what was going on and he had to look at something well with out female present he did so which I thought was odd because he's a male . So then he told me what he would do about it and said it be fine it will go back to normal ect. So then a random nurse comes in didn't say a name nothing that I never seen any person while I was there she just reads off what he was doing for treatment ect that was it . So then the medcine was sent to wrong pharmacy had get that fixed . So I looked at notes from my summary and this same nurse wrote incorrect information on her notes I didn't have family with me for 1.so my family didn't have my belongings My pain was never asked so it wasn't a 0 let's try a 10! False documentation!! So then I look up what this pa said was the promblem and what I read it won't fix itself ect maybe surgery needed but that's not what I was told at er so now I have reached out to my Dr which I should of just went and seen in first place! And my visit before this one was no bedside manners no care ect. I don't know what has happened to this place but they need people who care and don't just go for paycheck. Maybe nurse should talk with the patient and ask questions before filling incorrect information!!! You feel like you just get put in room and left you'll get more at a urgent care!!"

"I was referred to this ER by Sentara 5th St when they couldn't provide the "level of care" they believed I needed for my symptoms of side pain and nausea. When I went there I was initially treated as a drug seeker, even though I never even asked for pain medication! The Dr. refused to do any images because he was sure nothing was really wrong with me. And MyChart was written up with things I never said. It's literally a crime!"

"I have had to visit the ER twice within 6 months. First for two breaks in my foot and one in my pelvis and the second time for a very painful kidney stone. Each time the staff and doctors were very compassionate and attentive. They did x-rays, ct scans, and blood work as quickly as possible. Once the diagnoses were made they took care of my pain asap. Both times, I went home feeling much better after the knowledgeable care I received here."
