"The food was tasty and it felt I was back home. I tried koshary and lentil soup. Won’t be my last visit to this amazing place. The owners were really nice and welcoming. The background music/songs were a great addition."

"We came to King of Koshary at the recommendation of my father, who read about it in the paper. We already knew it would be good, but the service, food and atmosphere far exceeded our already high expectations! The atmosphere transports you to Egypt, and is casual and very comfortable with nice music. The staff were thoughtful and made sure we had a great meal. For food, we had the babaganoush and feter to start, both of which were fabulous. We also got the koshary, lamb tajeen, and beef kofta. All of which were well flavored, good portions and a great price. We look forward to coming back very soon!"

"We enjoyed a meal at this unpretentious restaurant. We had hummus, pita, and fetter for apps. Entrees were grilled branzino, shrimp and pasta and chicken swarma. We also had a Alexander Great salad (great!) but since meals came with salad it was too much. My fav was the branzino. The seasonings were delicious. Watch the many bones. I wish however that I had reread the article from the Post before we went because it may have been better to try the Koshary vs. the shrimp dish (so so), and the tahini vs. hummus (so so). I would skip the fetter. Strangely, it was mentioned that the food was closer to Yemeni than Egyptian. I’ll be back to try the more traditional dishes."
