"The night nurse was horrible. I'm in extreme pain and it was like pulling teeth for the night nurse to give me my ordered meds. Shed say she's gonna come give them to me and never come back. When i said to the 7am nurse that he night nurse wouldn't give me pain meds she told me to "get over it". I need different pain management, she said it was "to late" to ask the night dr id have to ask the a.m doctor. So this is all after a 4 hour surgery, shattered knee cap in pieces! Theses nurses do not care about your pain. The doctors visiting my room DO CARE and they seem to think that if you let the nurse know, there isn't a problem. but there is, they are very JUDGY and discriminating against pain medications. I really don't gaf about the bad rap pain pills have. They work! And a patient shouldn't have to feel guilty for asking for them."

"I went to the ER yesterday while having pain in my upper right side of my torso. I was concerned about a problem with my heart. I could not have had a better experience from the admission desk to check out. Everyone was very friendly, kind, and professional. They had a few tests to run and they all went smoothly and timely. The whole staff deserves kudos and a special shout out to the techs, nurses and Dr. Babienco! I will always use UVMC!"

"I will die before ever coming back here, because chances are I WOULD die here. I also believe that had all my family members who died here gone somewhere else, they'd still be alive. First experience was a tib/fib fracture. My shin was clearly broken in half. A nurse tried to set it over the table and demanded that somebody tried to hold me down since I refused to cooperate. I told him that this required surgery, to which he responded that he is the medical professional and knows how to deal with these injuries. A couple hours later I'm told I'm getting surgery. How crazy. Believing this was just a poor experience, I went back another time for a kidney infection and was sent home with Naproxen. This obviously did nothing, so I went back in again in an ambulance after I had passed out at work. They did zero testing and insisted it was indigestion. I found out later that I was experiencing constant UTI's and miscarriages due to a broken Nexplanon implant in my arm. They did not believe me and REFUSED to schedule an appointment to remove it. I went to multiple other hospitals begging to have it removed, all telling me the original doctor who placed it had to take it out. I called several more times to schedule an appointment to remove it. They still refused to schedule an appointment, saying there's no way it had broken and my kidney infection was not due to this. Finally, a friend told me to try to schedule a removal and lie saying I wanted to have a baby. They finally scheduled the appointment and it was removed. I went to Kettering Health for my kidney infection and was accurately diangnosed and treated, never having further complications. This hospital has a weird sense of "patient care". Brush off every single issue you have and make you feel crazy. I don't care if I'm a mile away from here and having an active medical emergency. Take me elsewhere."

"I was induced and delivered a baby boy here last Wednesday and I would give my experience 100 stars if I could! The entire process from my admission to my release was flawless. My nurses the first day, Kylie, Stephanie, and Rochelle, were phenomenal. Dr. Murphy I would take for delivery again in a heartbeat. If you choose this place to deliver your baby I promise you will not regret it!"
