"I want to recommend Mr. Sandless of Northern Virginia to anyone who needs floors refinished. AMAZING! They seriously live up to their name. I had them do the wood floors on my ENTIRE first floor and "clean up" the stairs. 1. Customer service is outstanding. They show up exactly when they say they will (and they tell you ahead of time). 2. They communicate each and every thing they are going to do--and then do it. AND they were honest about something they could not do and reduced my price accordingly. A lot of companies will just try something anyway and create/charge for a problem. 3. The process is amazingly clean--they told me they catch 85% of the dust with their equipment--they caught way more. Took me about 15 minutes to clean up the "residual" dust--and a lot of that was prob there before they even came LOL. 4. The owner suggested I rent a UHaul truck to put all the furniture in--and they did all the moving -- into the truck and back into my house. BRILLIANT plan--so simplified the process, too, and only cost me about $100. 5. They did a beautiful job--gave me a variety of finishes to choose from and were able to make all my floors "match" even though they were originally different ages and finishes. Makes everything look so much more open, brighter and definitely cleaner. 6. Very reasonable pricing for all they did. 7. Accomplished the entire job in 3.5 days--and absolutely minimized inconvenience to my family. We only had to leave the house once--for a few hours when the stain was put on. 8. The crew was respectful, polite, very accommodating and communicated well. The guys that worked at my house were great. I'd use this company again in a heartbeat and plan to have them back to do an upstairs bedroom in a few months."

"I first made an appointment with David and he booked then cancelled citing he had other plans (not good...he should confirm his calendar plans before booking appointments). When he finally showed up on a Saturday morning he was friendly, punctual, and I was thinking I had actually found a decent wood repairman. He promised a quote by Monday. Then Monday came around and I didn't hear from him. So, I email a day later thinking he must have had a reason for not providing the quote but boy was I wrong. It's not a good business practice to promise a customer a quote by a certain day and not follow through. Secondly, not responding to customer emails shows negligence. After three follow-ups with no response, I finally called David two weeks later only to find out he decided he wasn't going to provide me an estimate since he wasn't going to be able to perform the work and just never thought to call me back to communicate this. This is extremely unprofessional. Not only did I waste my time waiting for a quote, he didn't even have common business sense to reply to my emails or give me a call to explain. Very poor decision on his part. I would not recommend this business at all."
