"Dr. Ashley Spencer should be ashamed of herself! She recently okayed a travel certificate for Asha the elephant who was living in misery at Natural Bridge Zoo (not an accredited zoo, but a hell hole of torture for animals) to be transferred to Florida to Two Tails Ranch, one of the worst elephant zoo's (again, not accredited), who rent out their animals for entertainment and are kept in horrific conditions; no better than Natural Bridge Zoo. Two Tails also has numerous animal welfare violations. Dr. Spencer should be ashamed assisting in the placement of Asha from one bad situation to another. Dr. Spencer took an oath as a veterinarian, "Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge. I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics. I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence." Dr. Spencer, you have epically failed to uphold the oath you took."

"My dog got a UTI and needed treatment. I live in warm springs, va which is about 80 minutes away from Lexington. They told me I had to be here by 11am to be seen. We drove the 80 minutes to the clinic so he could be seen. They decided they needed a urine sample. They spent less than 5 minutes trying to get a urine sample. They decided they want us to do their job for them which we are paying them for, and want for us to go home and get the urine sample from my dog for them. Then come back on Monday with the urine sample we took for them. Skip work, drive another 80 minutes there, and another 80 minutes back, after they rushed us in to begin with. Just so they don’t have to do their job or even try to. Sorry. This is unacceptable and unprofessional."

"We had one of the vets come to our little homestead and they did an amazing job with our goats and explaining their processes. They followed up with us same day on some tests and managed expectations around result times due to the holiday...it was still going to be a quick turnaround."
