"Salem Animal Hospital offers an unbelievable level of medical support for pets, as well as fantastic customer service for people. From the front desk to the doctors, everyone is focused on making sure your animal(s) get the treatment and love they deserve. You can tell the staff are true pet lovers from the way they dote on their patients! They also offer a variety of payment plans that make it a lot easier to stomach any unexpected visits that pop up. We would have been put in a much more difficult situation when it came to care for our pets if it wasn't for the option to use Care Credit. One final note - although Salem Animal Hospital specializes in domestic pets, they were more than willing to help us with an elderly pet rabbit who became ill quickly and needed to be euthanized. They were extremely caring toward Ophelia (and us), and made sure she could pass comfortably with her favorite people around her. "Our 11 year old dog had an enlarged heart and fluid in her lungs. Dr. Vaught was awesome on every appointment. Even the last one where she generously helped Maggie and stopped her suffering. We were with her, and she gently explained what to expect during the very hard time at Maggie's final moments. If we decide to adopt again, we'll definitely stay with Salem Animal Hospital. The staff is so compassionate and caring. We are saddened by our loss, but grateful to the help we received from the staff there."
