Massage Envy

"Do your self a favor and go to any other massage envy in the area. The front staff at this location are regularly rude and they seem like they’d rather be anywhere but there. I dealt with the poor customer service because I enjoyed the work of the two women who give facials there. This week, I tried to cancel my appointment with them because I had to have a spot removed from my cheek by my dermatologist. I responded to their confirmation text message within 2 minutes of receiving it. I offered to provide them proof of this and the manager told me that it didn’t matter and I would still be charged for the appointment because I responded after 11am. When I pointed out that I didn’t get the text until after 3pm the first person I talked to told me it was my fault because their text messages go out at 8am and then the manager told me that it was my fault because their messages go out 48 hours in advance. After realizing I was being lied to I asked the manager if this one visit was really worth my business and she told me she didn’t care because they are part of a bigger LLC and not individually owned. Great to know that not all massage envies are individually owned but from now on I will only support the ones that are. I’d rather support an individual who depends on me to show up rather than a big LLC that obviously doesn’t feel the need to treat its customers or it’s disgruntled employees right."

"Recently treated my mother to some "me" time by spoiling her with a facial here at ME with Lorraine! Upon entering, first impressions were that the receptionist was friendly and attentive, establishment was nice and clean and the esthetician Lorraine was beyond informative and friendly. Would highly recommend booking an appointment with her if you're in the market for a facial or chemical peel! She was also very detailed and meticulous. 10/10!"

"One the estheticians here is very annoying (talks too much and too loudly for a spa, gloats about herself and her love for cats) and condescending (makes you feel like you don’t know anything about your skin and tries to take away the subjectivity of the meaning of what a client feels is “tolerable”), which makes for a very unpleasant experience all around. I thought very seriously about getting up and walking out, and wish I had now, because it did not get better. I question her expertise because she ended up recommending a product that wasn’t actually for my skin type and did more harm than good. I will never go to her again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to her either. I think her name was Rebecca. But you’ll know it’s her if you get her, unfortunately. In my 9 years of membership, I have never had a facial experience as poor and uncomfortable as the one she provided. My massages at this location, however, have been descent."
