"The Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University, and serves as home to both student actors and musicians as well as visiting professional artists of all types. It's an easily-accessible community-centered theater offering a multitude and wide variety of artistic performances throughout the year which should be checked out."
"I attended a showcase of the choral and theater departments of Virginia Wesleyan University. Three choirs performed, a cellist and violinist played solo pieces, and actors performed monologues from the upcoming play. It was a hour well spent! Acoustics in the hall were excellent; no microphones were used. I was seated a couple of rows from the back and heard everything."
"Easy to get to and to get out of. We went to see All Shook Up. Play was good, not the best or the worst I have ever seen, but the venue was excellent."
"One of the finest small performing arts venues in Hampton Roads. Excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and no obstructed views. Parking is very good, and the venue is easily accessible. The theater is a jewel for Virginia Wesleyan University."
