Mill Mountain Theatre

"The crowd was large, but the entrance and exit were handled well. Over half of the theatre goers were wearing masks, and the theatre and women's restroom was clean. The musical production of Million Dollar Quartet was phenomenal! The music was great, the actors and singers enthusiastic, and the one set was simple but interesting. There was no intermission during the 1 &1/2 hour production, but this had been noted ahead of time. The sound was excellent, and visuals were great from our center seats. Overall, it was a musical and humorous production that made for a very pleasant evening. Because of this, I purchased tickets for another upcoming production. Very fun and professional presentation! 3/25/23 Went to see Jersey Boys, and what a ride! The music and acting were superb. It's probably the best production I've seen at MMT in years, and I've been going since it was on top of Mill Mountain. Excellent in every way. I would post some pics, but photos are prohibited. The photos are from the digital program, which is cool, with so much more information. 12/16/2023 Truly enjoyed the production of Elf The Musical at MMT! Everything about this holiday spirited show was professional, festive and fun! Had great seats in the third row center, but at times, the under stage instrument combo overpowered the actors' song. A more balanced sound might have been more evident in seats not as close to the combo. The true stand-out was the actor who played Buddy the Elf with his fluid facial expressions, excellent voice, and physical antics! Some of the actors played different characters, resulting in some serious quick costume changes. The choreography was also excellent, and all the actors were great in song and dance. Overall, it was truly a "get in the spirit" event, prompting all to " Sing loud for all to hear!" Photography was not allowed, so pics are from a WDBJ promotion."

"Can't find a place or person to call. I love the plays at Mill Mt. and really enjoyed Jersey Boys however having asthma when the air machines came on there was a certain fragrance that came through. It was a woodsy burn smell. It caused me to use my inhaler. Just FYI be careful what you use, almost had to leave due to breathing."
