Rural King

"Horrible service. I placed an order for fire wood. After a week of waiting for shipping information and receiving nothing I called and was told there was a hold on the order for verification. I asked why no one contacted me and their response was they don’t know that there’s a hold until the customer contacts them… wait what? They then said the verification process takes 3 days upon receiving it and that the processing after that is 1 to 3 weeks. I asked if they could expedite the processing they said no they were unable to do that. They cannot expedite their own processing internally. I explained that it’s firewood that I need and we’re are in sub freezing temperatures and that their verification process is flawed because if I hadn’t called they would have never processed the order, they didn’t care and were unwilling to provide any type of compensation. Do not use! This is not how a legitimate company processes their customers orders and I will not be using Rural King ever again!"

"I am posting for a specific employee at this Rural King location in Front Royal, Va. I believe his name is Cliff or Clint in the gun/ammo department. He is a young man, however this employee is capable of being the store manager in my opinion! We have purchased several guns and pistols here and most every time, he was the one behind the counter. On Black Friday, he was handling the long line of customers like a pro, basically single handedly. We did see the manager periodically, but he never once stepped behind the counter to help Clint/Cliff. I just left the store and it’s Christmas Eve, and he was working again and helping a man purchase a gun and asked me if I needed any help with ammunition while he was also helping the gentleman in front of me. This guy needs a raise and a promotion!"

"As stores go it's always busy , but kinda messy store there's a lot of variety. The staff seem clueless and aren't very helpful. Seems as if they have no clue about the products . Pet friendly is a plus, free dog treat and popcorn."
