"Outstanding service from everyone here! Pulled pork BBQ, hush puppies, and barbecue beans were excellent, and the mountain sauce might be my favorite BBQ sauce ever, tangy and sweet with a little kick. Mac & Cheese was a bit overcooked, and the smoked mashed potatoes were good but just a little bland, but the great far outweighed the average, and I am looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!"
"In general, the food was satisfactory, though a bit dry. The enticing sauces they offer complement the dishes well. The waitress was exceptionally friendly, and the nostalgic 50's ambiance adds a curious touch to the overall experience."
"We really wanted this place to be good and it looked like a hole in the wall place that should be the best. It wasn't. Maybe we had an off night but the pork and beef both tasted as if it wasn't smoked. The pork basically tasted like bland chicken. The sauces were okay but definitely not even in the upper half of barbecue sauces of tasted before. Overall disappointing. I did like the historical photos on the wall."
"Ordered Texas Brisket Moist. The beans, slaw and tea were good. The brisket was dry so they brought a dish of diced pork. It too was dry. Management was very understanding, did the right thing and compted the meal."
"Super friendly and fast service. Delicious iced tea. Excellent food. Marked it down one star because the brisket was pulled not sliced, but otherwise I definitely recommend when in town."
