"This museum has a superpower, throwing engaging outdoor events. First it was The Featival of the Moon with a massive replica of the moon taking up most of a city block as Indigenous people performed sacred ritual dances. More recently, Fantastic Planet with three enormous inflatable beings and a dance troupe performing in the street at night. If you ever see an event happening there GO. Do not hesitate. Both these events were free and open to the public. Suitable for all ages. Food trucks, glass blowing on special occasions. Once inside, the galleries are filled with treasures including a slightly creepy doll collection, fantastic glassworks and video games by student designers complete with VR experiences. Your kids will love it and so will your inner child."

"Free admission. Free Parking. Open on a Sunday! Great place!! Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Spent about an hour here. Restrooms are clean. Fun art on display.. many beautiful and thought provoking pieces. A lot of glass. There’s a cute book nook upstairs to read and relax..a good number of glass and art books to flip through. Definitely a must see if you’re in Norfolk."
