"Great service, but when you try to pay for anything the cashiers are very pushy and try to make you buy a membership. Make a pitch once or twice I get it, but the last time I went the guy was a real jerk trying to bully me into buying a membership."

"Do not come here for bike repairs. I brought a bike in because its pedal threads were stripped on both sides. It clearly stated on the work order that both sides needed work, but when I received the bike, only one side had been fixed. When I called to complain, they told me they could get the other side done at full price if I brought it in. While I normally try not to expect any kind of discount, the price difference would have justified me buying a membership to receive a discount on all the work done in the first round. Also I already waited days for the initial work to be done, so if I'm paying full price I'd rather pay somebody who didn't mess it up already. The person I was on the call with just lectured me about how the second thread replacement wasn't listed in the order under parts or under notes to customer, so really it was my fault, even though it clearly stated "Right pedal is loose. Left pedal is tight and can't be removed" in that exact same work order under Special Requests from Customer. To their credit, I had another bike brought in that they did perform the 1 request I had on, as well as another needed repair. As a side note, I suspect the cashier was trying to avoid the work of signing me up for a membership. When I said I don't have a membership number, another worker was shocked, but the cashier was waving him off and insisting "No membership number" and seemingly trying to avoid the topic. (However, take this with a grain of salt cause this is just how I read the situation, but there were other nuances to support my belief)"

"Lots of neat stuff here, but be prepared to spend a lot. Bikes were $3-4 K, tents about $200+ - $500+, etc. Looks like great quality. I'd go for something specific I might need, but not all my shopping. Just too expensive for us. Lots of meals that are dried and sealed close to $10. A piece."

"This REI I have visited on occasion to find specific sport items/equipment. Today I was seeking Summer items. Most of store was displaying Fall equipment & clothing items. I went looking for assistance & it became frustrating to find help as I roamed around with my arms full of clothing to try. In the back of store I spotted a " returns" area with 2 available staff. One of two offered assistance. I do plan to visit/purchase REI again. Just hope there will be more staff alert to customers."

"Always wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. Slightly limited selection and on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for. Everyone send eager to help, whether you're an enthusiast, or a first timer. Also, they keep strict mask policy and occupancy limit, not letting more people in until an equal number has left. This kept the store feeling relatively safe and uncrowded."
