"If I could give zero stars, I would! This place is HORRIBLE since Dr. Seaver left! They truly have no compassion for their patients! I have had several bad experiences with their office employees (Nancy is the rudest office employee I have ever encountered and literally does nothing but run her mouth), but my most recent experience was the final straw for me. I was told by them that I needed my wisdom teeth extracted, a root canal, and a couple of cavities filled. I had put it off too long, and my wisdom teeth started causing me horrible pain. My husband was told that they would squeeze me in with Dr. Cagle on the same day my 3 kids had their cleanings to get my wisdom teeth out since I was in so much pain. The day I went with my kids for their cleanings, I went ahead and paid for my extractions and came prepared, but NO ONE HAD EVEN PUT ME DOWN ON THE SCHEDULE ANYWHERE, and I was informed that there was no possible way to fit me in that day. The same evening, still suffering from pain from my wisdom teeth, the tooth in front of one of my wisdom teeth broke off making the pain unbearable! We called the next morning (on Friday), and we were told the office is closed, but Dr. Pittman is on call for these types of situations and a message would be sent to him. At 08:20 the message was sent, and at 08:22 the message was read by Dr. Pittman. We NEVER EVEN GOT A CALL FROM DR. PITTMAN! I was suffering so bad, my family of 5 all are regular patients at this office, and no one cared enough to even give me a call back, call in some antibiotics, or even some pain medication to get me through! This is completely and utterly neglect!! Thank God, DR. TURNER at GRAYSTATION DENTAL, where I have never even been a patient, came in on his day off to take care of me. He pulled my wisdom teeth, started me on an antibiotic, and called me in pain medication. He was so kind, did a phenomenal job, was so quick, and I am in no pain now! I will be taking all of my family to Graystation Dental in Gray, TN from now on! Mountain Empire Dental is unprofessional, unorganized, and severely lacks compassion. Everyone uses the excuse "we have a new software" for everything! All the doctors there are lazy and work hard to do as little work as possible!! These people are a pathetic excuse for a dental office!"

"I confirmed my son's appointment via their automated texting system last week. His appointment is scheduled for TOMORROW. However, today, I get a text from "Erica," telling me (THE DAY BEFORE HIS APPOINTMENT!!) that they no longer accept his insurance! And they're blaming their ignorance on a "software update!""

"This was my first visit to this office and my first dental appointment for many years. Even though I had a lot of issues to resolve, no one on the staff made me feel guilty or embarrassed. The organization is totally professional and amazingly friendly. I'm glad I started the process of maintaining good dental hygiene and am actually looking forward to getting my mouth in order with regular visits. I would certainly recommend this office for anyone...even if you haven't been to the dentist in a long time..."

"I LOVE this dental office and here's why: Hygienists: They are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel like best friends while cleaning your teeth and they give you feedback on cleaning without making you feel bad. Dentists: They are all super nice and caring and so professional and good at what they are doing. They instill a sense of trust in their capabilities. I feel like I'm in good hands of a caring dentist. Dental Assistants: They are very good at helping you get through procedures and are very knowledgeable in the procedures, what the dentist will need, and in helping you stay stress free. They have a nifty little trick that I love of touching my hand as an aid to comfort and distract when I'm feeling tense or nervous. Support Staff: They are friendly and helpful and they never seem stressed or unwilling to help me understand my appointments or payment options, and they never make me feel like I'm bothering them with questions. Overall: They meet daily (I believe) and go over their caseload for the day. Some people may not appreciate what a difference that makes but it thrills my little process improvement heart because it makes their day, and their patient's day go much smoother. It makes for a well oiled machine, and it so shows in both the quality of care I receive and in their stress levels, because I've never seen them sweat. They make me feel like friends and family by doing all this and more, and I'm not related to any of them! They make me feel cared for, and they do an excellent job technically speaking. I really couldn't ask for a better group of people to care for my teeth. I've moved further away recently but instead of finding a new dentist who is closer, I drive to them. They so make it worth my while. I highly recommend them on every level."
