"The DoG Street Pub is the perfect lunch or dinner spot right in the middle of town. We went right at lunch and got a spot right away. The service was slower, but that might be just to how busy they were at the time. There did seem to be some food mixups around us with people being delivered the wrong food and some peoples food coming out much later than the rest of their party, or not at all. We were very fortunate to not have those issues though. The corned beef sandwich was phenomenal. The pub sauce was great as well. The corned beef wasn’t super fatty, and was really juicy. The burger was good as well. The ham on top was a nice touch. The beverage selection is enormous. I ended up either some tasters to sample, but they also have an extensive cocktail list, bottle/can options, wine, and seasonal drinks. We definitely will come back again when we’re coming through Williamsburg."
"Location was extremely busy so we sat at the bar. Service was okay especially since the bartender was also very busy filling drink orders, putting away clean glasses and barware, and taking orders at the other side of the bar. Food took awhile too - kitchen forgot to fill an order, so the rest of us felt weird to start eating. Drink selection is excellent and we would come again for flights!"
"We had the house hamburger and the corn beef sandwich. Both were really good, but the corn beef was on the dry side. That said, the service was quick and attentive. Good place for a bite."
"We rode our bikes over for lunch during a day of touring colonial williamsburg. We were seated pretty wick, but had a new waiter, so service was OK. The food was good. Fish and chips, sandwiches. burgers, corned beef brisket with fries and naked vinegar are all good. DESSERT was the best part. GET THE ETON MESS! crunchy meringue with strawberry drizzle and shipped cream. So very unique and delicious. I would go back just for this dessert, even with it across the street from the wonderful candy place."
